1. The Position
Tilos is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Scientist to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be involved in executing key experiments in antibody drug development to rapidly bring anti-LAP antibodies into clinical development.
2. Core Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and conduct in vitro/ex vivo assays to evaluate antibody activity, therapeutic utility, and mechanism of action. Techniques used include, but not limited to ELISA, flow cytometry, Western Blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology, etc.
Design experiments and Independently execute experiments to generate high quality data
Analyze and rigorously interpret data
Isolate immune cells from whole blood/tissues
Maintain cell lines and primary cell cultures and carry out cell-based analyses
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply new technologies and procedures
Maintain accurate records of experimental protocols and results
Present research progress to internal team
BA/MA with 5 years lab experience, preferably in biotech/pharma
Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques and flow cytometry;
Experience with primary cell isolates and culture, and immunological assays a plus
Excellent communication skills (oral and written), problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
Tilos is located in newly renovated space in Lexington, MA inside Rt. 128.
